Solarium question

We were on the Radiance last January and the whirlpool in the Solarium was closed every evening, except for the first night. :( I'm wondering if this is common on every boat or just an exception on that particular cruise.

 

We will be on the Navigator next January :D and we are looking forward to the Solarium in the evening (very relaxing). We would like to know if the whirlpools in the Solarium are closed at night.

 

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

The solarium on Radiance class and Voyager class are a bit different. They do close one or the other for cleaning every evening. I'm sure they close the adult-only area, so as not to keep the kids from having a swimmin' hole!

Both trips on the Navigator for me they were open but as we all know things can change from sailing to sailing.

we were with 7 friends enjoying champagne in the hotttub & about 9PM a guard approach us & told us to get out & go in the other one. There was not room for 6 with the folks in it already. They put the net instantly on it, so we left. Found it quite rude.......

The hot tubs in the Rhapsody Solarium were always open....the ones by the outdoor pool were always full of kids.
