mobile, al - any good places to have dinner and drink to ring in the New Year??

We're going on the Holiday on Monday! Yay!

We're driving to Mobile on Sunday from the Houston area.

 

Does anyone live in Mobile or been there enough to know of any good places to have dinner and drink to ring in the New Year??

Felex's on Battleship Parkway, go through the tunnel on I-10 first exit out of tunnel. Great seafood and lively bar. Got my Docs today for my Glory cruise in Feb:D :D

Yeaaaaahhh!!

Im so excited myself. We are also going on the Holiday Cruise on Monday.

Theres about 16 of us in our group.

We live in Atlanta so we will head to Mobile Early Monday morning as its just a few hours drive.

Have fun....I know I will :D

Go to what they call the Eastern Shore .. it's across the Bay and is a lot better area......

It is more than a few hours drive from ATL....no problem drving it in a day, but you are looking at 7 hours or so.

Mobile is a 5 1/2 hour drive from Cumming GA just north of Atlanta and with the hour time change that makes 4 1/2 hour time difference. We left at 7am and got to the port at 11:30 checked in and was on the ship not long after noon. Rooms were not ready until 1:30 though.

 

We had a great trip and enjoyed the cruise very much even though it is an older ship. Food and service were great!

Its never taken me 7 hours to get to Mobile. Hopefully it wont be that bad of a drive. The weather is supposed to be nice.

 

I completely forgot about gaining an hour due to the time change. That makes it even better. :)
