Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights?

I was just wondering- from anyone who has done a Baltics cruise- if the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis were visible. We'll be on the Jewel in August 2007 and I was curious. Thanks. :D

First and biggest problem: You need it to be dark to see the aurora. You'll get some decent night-time in August (with more darkness if you're cruising later in the month), but you get a better chance if you go to the high northern latitudes during the winter.
