golfer1966 Posted January 2, 2007 #26 Share Posted January 2, 2007 we prefer the Barbados itinerary. We just did the other ( aruba, curacao ) in December and liked it too, but we still prefer the Barbados route. Both are very nice as all agree, but some mention the Sea Days. A few points to consider.... The Barbados itin is very port intensive with the last day being a sea day. The Aruba route has two sea days....the first day and the day after Curacao going to St Maarten.

Michelle4UGA Posted January 2, 2007 #28 Share Posted January 2, 2007 I just got home form the 11 night Empress from San Juan. It was unbeliveable. You hit all the ports you have mentioned plus a few. If I had to pick form the two I would pick the aruba route. In antigua do the excellence catamaran. We had a blast. The Empress is a small ship, but we were prepared for that and we actually were surpised at the size of the room. The crew is amazing. THe ship is in great ship and has the new bedding.
