NFL playoffs

I'll be boarding the Jewel on Sunday, January 7th right as the Eagles/Giants playoff game is starting...is there any chance I'll be able to watch it on the ship or will I be forced to bring my computer and watch the ESPN Gamecast???

I got to watch a football game, but it was on a regular network channel, not ESPN.

Thanks for the information. I don't think a decision has been made yet about which network will broadcast the game. I was referring to the play-by-play notes on the game at ESPN.com, which I would have to defer to if it wasn't available on the ship's televisions.

We were on the Jewel's Dec 17th sailing. They broadcast the Jets/Vikings game in the Fyzz Lounge @ 1pm and the Eagles/Giants game @ 4:15pm on Dec 17th. Saturday Dec 23th, the Chiefs/Raiders game was on in Maltings bar. I'd put $$$ on them showing some playoff games in the bars. But if you read some of my posts about gambling in the casinos......I'm probably wrong!LOL! :) The tv's in the cabins get ESPN. They do not get the four major channels that most games would be on.

Enjoy the Jewel. We did.

Yeah Eagles! Glad to see another fan on the site! I'm all about my team's comeback and I just cannot imagine missing this game, although I'm sure my travelmates will not be remotely as excited as I am. If I have to miss the end of the game for some muster drill however, I will be less than pleased. After the game, I'll be ready to do nothing but cruise...no more TV after that!
