Question about Luggage Tags at Miami Port

Recommended Posts

This is our first cruise with the e-docs and without the "normal" cruise documents. We have left from Miami before on RCCL and we know how hectic the baggage loading area is. Needless to say, we are somewhat skeptical about the porters being able to get us the correct luggage tags to insure our luggage gets to our room. Obviously, they must have a good system or I would have seen complaints about this on these boards, but I still have my doubts. How have others found this to be working?

To ensure that tags get on your bags--YOU do it! Don't just hand the bags to the porters and tell them your cabin #! Get the tags from them, write your cabin # and then attach the tags to your bags--THEN give them to the porter! (Along with a small tip!!)
