to get on the ship Rhaposdy is far from a BIG ship. Freedom fits that.

As far as clothes, just lay them on the bed or hang them on arm on the closet door by how many days, If formal, casual, pool clothes, etc. Then drop them all in the suitcase. Then toiletries are conditioner for your hair, a body cream if you are allergic to many, stuff you need for the week, pack it all.

Then in your purse, you have your passport, credit card & Set Sail Pass you printed out & signed. Luggage has tags on it for stateroom it goes to on Rhapsody.

Then sit back & wait to get there.....

ENJOY!

Don't worry about blowing you money on the ship--I've never found that much to spend money on! (Except for drinks!!!!) Now, in ports, that can be a different story! Just don't take all your money with you--that should limit your spending! (Or let the other person in your party control the $$$!)

I think you'll find that if you didn't pack it, you can get by without it! It's only 1 week!

Relax and enjoy this vacation--it shouldn't be stressful--that's the whole point of cruising!

Take a deep breath... a couple things that might come in handy are a

* highlighter (to use when you're reading through Compass - daily schedule - you won't miss any fun stuff)

* post it notes and a pen (leave notes for room stewart or travel companion)

* a good book - you're on vacation! Don't forget to relax and enjoy!

Have fun!

My first ship was the Dawn Princess. I thought it was hugh too. Your first ship is always hugh. It will leave a mark on you. As for the money thing if you are very worried talk to whoever is going with you and tell them you have a max of $100.00 a day ect. They may be able to help you keep that.

Yes, get a photo taken by them but don't buy them all. Find them and ask the desk to save them for you. At end of cruise pick one or two only. On my first cruise I picked the first one which was the embarkation one and my second formal night one (I liked the dress better).

As for souvaniers on islands think of a theme ie Christmas ordiments or T-shirts, coasters ect. Stick to it so that you do not go crazy with your money. Stay out of the Casino ect for say $10.00 to say you were there, Buy your wine before you leave through the web site. Have it servered at dinner. Enjoy.

As for advice take half the clothes and twice the money. Don't forget to tip.
