At around 4:30pm, CNN commented that the package was detonated and given the all clear. Package contained some sprinkler parts. Sigh.

Actually what they probably found was nitrates- which is component of c-4(plastic explosives). In fact its pretty much a component of all explosives...and one of the prime fertilizers used on lawns as well that would touch a sprinkler part.....

 

well at least it proves they are checking.....

This happened yesterday and it was all due to misscommunication from the the local news here said yesterday evening.

Nope, this was different than yesterday's 'miscommunication' scare - this one was specifically about a package that they thought contained explosives. Glad that everything appears to be a-okay. We're leaving out of FLL in three weeks.
