IDKaren Posted January 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2007 Does anyone have the menu for Pacific Heights? If not--what kind of food do they serve? Also---where is the waffle bar? THANKS so much!
Retired not Expired Posted January 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2007 We ate there last month but I can't remember the menu. I know I had a wonderful porkchop and my wife had vegetable Lasagna. Both were very good and nicely prepared. The service was also exceptional.
Globaliser Posted January 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 7, 2007 It's all "Cooking Light" stuff. I personally find it bland and uninteresting, but there are other CC members who like the fact that the menu has a lot of "home cooking"-type items. magic10628 Posted January 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2007 I got this link from someone else's post, but I can't remember whose. (Sorry! Take credit of this is your site!) Here's a sample Pacific Heights menu, along with other sample menus: http://www.zydecocruiser.com/ncl_sun_2006/menus/menu2.htm
parrothead0918 Posted January 8, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2007 I agree with Globalizer. Sailed the Sun 3 times...love the ship. Ate once a Pacific Heights on our first cruise. The menu and food looked great, but it was so bland that we never went back. There are too many other good restaurants onboard to eat at rather than risk a second try. Down-Unders Posted January 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Does anyone have the menu for Pacific Heights? If not--what kind of food do they serve? Also---where is the waffle bar? THANKS so much! The food is good light cooking, agree about the pork chops also they served a nice fish dish and of course dont forget the sweets. Believe the waffle station was is on deck 12, we would die for some at this moment. :) :)
IDKaren Posted January 8, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Thanks all for your help and especially thank you for the link with the menus. I guess I am doomed to be a farm girl-raised on meat and potatoes- no fancy sauces or fancy dishes so I am usually afraid to try new things because I don't like them. At least on a cruise I can always send it back and try something else-unlike a restaurant! Guess I will just have to venture out of my comfort zone. Looks like the buffet has good old country girl stuff...noooo- I WILL venture out of my box. Thanks all!;)
