Morningstar Beach-St Thomas

Chairs are reserved for hotel guests, though when we were there as hotel guests there were a lot of empty chairs and no one was checking if you really were a hotel guest. Pool area is also reserved for hotel guests.

Coco Joe's is a cute beach bar with swings and hammocks to sit in. It was kind of pricey, but much cheaper than the restaurant that was further up the beach. I forget the name, but the building looks like it's ready to fall into the water.

The beach is not too bad but there are more "Caribbean-esque" beaches on the island. Morningstar reminded me a lot of east coast U.S. beaches and that's why I'm saying that. The water has small swells and there is noticible drop off into the water from the shoreline. I'm 5'9" tall and stepped into water over my knees.

I have photos from Morningstar here: http://lrichters.smugmug.com/gallery/1229303
