First HAL cruise - just booked the European Romance on the Prinsendam

Hi all

 

I just booked the European Romance on the Prinsendam. I am really looking forward to this trip as the itinery is so interesting. But I have never cruised HAL before - my favorite line so far is Princess although I have been on most of the other mass market lines as well.

 

I started a roll call for this sailing as no one had started one yet. I know this is a small ship with less than 800 passengers but I was hoping to meet some people on line that would be on the ship. On my last cruise I met the nicest people on the roll call and we wound up sharing private tours and had a great time.

 

Any tips or advice from the "experts" out there would be greatly appreciated.

For our sailing on Prinsendam last summer exactly 3 people signed up on the roll call - but we did end up touring for three days in St. Petersburg with one of the other couples.

 

The Prinsendam is a great ship, while deserving her nickname "The Elegant Explorer". It's everything good you've ever heard about HAL - but more so.

We were on the Prinsendam last April & had a wonderful time on that beautiful ship..As Dave says, you probably will not get too many singed up on your roll call, but be patient & you might meet a few on board..
