cruise lines which don't charge for kids <2?

Hello, besides NCL, does any other cruise line not charge for kids under 2 y/o if they are booked with adults in the same room?

Costa also only charges port charges for children under 2 years old.

Does NCL charge for port taxes or the child goes free all together??

 

I dont know of any lines that dont charge the port and tax.

A child is still a passenger.

NCL charges for port charges. I believe all ships have to charge port charges as they are charged by the total number of people listed on their manifest for each island they visit. The ports do not charge by age.

Thanks JJ'smama and Jessica&Ben for the information. I will look into Costa and Disney, both of which were not on my list and will be helpful in narrowing my search.

Also check with Princess, Holland America, and Royal Caribbean. Princess and HAL charge a small fee in addition to port fees and taxes. RCCL charges just port fees and taxes for most sailings.

 

Be aware that many TAs don't know about reduced-rate infant fares. If you know there is an infant rate available, but are quoted a regular 3rd pax rate by a TA, insist that they double-check with the cruise line.

Royal charges full 3rd price for infants. Silly as it may sound. Carnival does also.

Royal and Princess are charging me the full 3rd person fares for my one year old. She better be hungry and eat her money's worth!

7 day Bahamas cruise for a 4 month old was $250. I was told these were the port taxes.
