c&a'smom Posted January 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2007 How long did it take to get a confirmation from Native Way? I'm trying to book the Rays, Reef & Rum Point tour and it's been a few days without any response. I just emailed them again. Am I being too impatient? drew sailbum Posted January 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Probably. Things happen in "island time." Be patient, and you will get a reply.
Rare finoky Posted January 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Sharon will get back to you. Like the previous poster said, island time can seem slow to us. She will respond soon.
LizaMM Posted January 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2007 I sent an email 2 days ago about an excursion as well. I have not heard back yet either and I am inquiring about 2/5/07. So far, I am not worried :) I have used NativeWay in the past and found them to be wonderful and reliable.
Dgonza Posted January 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Yeah, they tend to be slow at times. Just email every couple of days and she will get back to you. I have read great reviews, just a little slow on the replies.
c&a'smom Posted January 19, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted January 19, 2007 I heard back from Sharon today and we are all set! YIPEE!! I'm so excited! I guess I was being too impatient! I really had to sweet talk some of the people in our group to do this. They still think I'm nuts for wanting to get in the water with the sting rays, but I know we will be fine! :)
Dgonza Posted January 19, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Hey good job, I am sure you will enjoy it. We will be there for the first time in March.
MCManders99 Posted January 22, 2007 #8 Share Posted January 22, 2007 I tried emailing them about 3-4 times and never got a response. I gave up for awhile. Maybe I will start trying again. I even gave them my home and work email and nothing. I'd say keep trying.
Jan_In_Maine Posted January 22, 2007 #9 Share Posted January 22, 2007 I e-mailed them on the 15th and on the 19th and have not heard back from them - I will wait a few days and re-try. I never thought to give them my work e-mail. Would it be worth it to just call? thanks, Jan
JustaTrace Posted January 26, 2007 #10 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I too, emailed two days ago with no response. Maybe they are overwhelmed? I am going to try again today. I don't want to miss out on a tour I want if I wait and they all fill up.

JustaTrace Posted January 26, 2007 #12 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I ended up calling and spoke to Sharon directly. We had to take a different tour than we wanted because the Island tour/Stingray tour has a waitlist. They are waiting for conformation from a group of 14. So we booked the Stingray/Coral Reef tour instead. Should be just as fun. Not a lot to choose from for the March 6th tours. They were fully booked when I spoke to her for that day, we managed to get the last three spots on the tour we chose.
