Boarding Time For Radiance

I'm going on Radiance out of Seward on July 20.

Our departure time is 9 PM.

Can anyone tell me approximately what time they let you board the ship?

When we sailed on the Vision (July '05) out of Seward, we were able to board around noon.

Noonish seems to be the usual time - though we got on the Radiance once at 11.

When are you arriving in Anchorage? If it's the day before the cruise, one option would be to take the 6:45 a.m. train to Seward ($65/pp) that arrives at 11:05 a.m., then take an 11:30-5:30 Kenai Fjords cruise before boarding your ship.

Hi Andrea... I posted this exact question earlier in the week... we sail Aug 17th... moat everyone said that we would board in the afternoon time...I had never seen a 9 pm separture so I was confused.

I've never left at 9PM either. I can't believe that we can board that early. I have to check my flight times again. I might want to come in a day early since we can board so early. I don't want to miss a second on that ship...haha!!!

It's a good idea to arrive the day before a cruise, especially when you're flying so far. As I mentioned above - since you're doing a one-way cruise without a land trip beforehand - you might want to consider a Kenai Fjords cruise in Seward before you board your ship. A ship is a ship - but how often do you go to Alaska?
