I need some help !!! We are leaving on the Destiny on February 4th 2007 from San Juan visiting St. Thomas; Dominica; Barbados; St. Lucia; Antigua. I would like suggestion on doing something romantic on one of the islands or even on the ship. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated !!

Well, I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for but here goes some suggestions.

I can't refer anything specific to specific islands, but just overall suggestions that you can research on the port of call boards.

Some islands have day sails where they have a very minimal amount of people on board beautiful sailboats and you just sail around and they serve you lunch and drinks...can be pricey I believe.

On the boat you could bring a bottle of champagne out on to your balcony or out on one of the main decks (preferably up on the funnel deck so you can be alone) and watch the stars as you sail to the next port.

I guess those are nothing exciting, but the best I can do for now! Good luck in finding what you're looking for.

Carnival ships have some very private decks. On the Conquest class Deck 3 is very nice - but there are doors in the front of (I think) Deck 6 to the bow. If you explore, you will find these private places for watching the moon, etc.;)

If you have a balcony, there is always a lot of romance that can go on there.

The Spa has a couples massage and also a special deal where you can be in a room together for an hour with mud (or something) and they knock on the door 10 minutes before you have to leave. Some cruisers have raved about this.

You can always find romance. Ask a staff member (like the Cruise Director) for a private beach for the ports. The staff usually knows all the great places to go.

Have fun. Oh, if you have a balcony, bring a bungie cord and keep the door open to hear the ocean all night long. I did this and it was fabulous!
