After purchasing tickets on Southwest to and from Hobby airport. I was told by Carnival they only transfer to IAH. On inbound we are coming in one day early and rented car to be dropped off. However car rental is not open on Sunday to rent return to Hobby airport. Any Suggestions or experiences? thanks in advance

On our trip last May, the Carnival transfer bus did stop at Hobby to drop off some people at the end of the cruise but did not stop at Hobby on the way to the port (beginning of cruise). Maybe those people made special arrangements directly with the driver to stop at Hobby on the way to IAH??

Regardless, some folks on this board have had good experience with Emerald Limo service - you can find them via the link jleq lists above.

Last summer, friends and I used Galveston Limo Service for transporation to and from Houston Hobby to the port for Galveston. Looks like their prices have gone up a little. We paid $50 round trip and now they are posting $60 rt on their website or $35 one-way. It was a decent shuttle type bus and was reliable with friendly and helpful drivers. We found it to be the best deal price wise. You can call ahead and make a reservation with them and they do have a desk in the baggage area of the airport so after you get off the plane and get your baggage, it's easy to check in with them. When we got off the ship after the cruise, they were there waiting for us. Website is galvestonlimousineservice.
