Pride-which airport to come into

We are wondering, there is an airport in LA and one in Long Beach if we are taking the Pride which airport would we go into?

Long Beach is closest ( about 15 min) to the port but not necessarily the cheapest to fly into. Check all your options. LAX may be cheaper to fly, but more for transportation to the port.

While Long Beach is closer, LAX gives you many more options. And it's more competitive.

 

Since Carnival Pride sails on Sundays, barring some bad incident, traffic on the San Diego Freeway should be tolerable.

If there is ANY possibility, I am even willing to pay a little more for a closer, more convenient airport. Long Beach is the way to go.

Consider flying in on Saturday, that may bring some savings. Orange County (SNA) is another option, but generally higher.

I vote Long Beach. But LAX is my second choice. Both are good choices. Just a matter of cost.
