megabill Posted February 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2007 The only answer that is truly accurate is "Ships Time".... Check http://www.timeanddate.com for the time zone info - but its worth checking with the cruiseline, as well, to see if they keep the time zone of the port of embarkation or if they actaully do a time change for that voyage. (or i guess other posters might know too)
Traceybell Posted February 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Connie arrives in Cozumel at 10am on March 21st...anyone know if this is Eastern Time or Local Island/Central Time ?? I have found on prior sailings that the times listed in the itinerary are local times and that if a time zone adjustment is needed the daily program the day before will advise you to set your watch back, forward, etc. So if you are comparing the departure time for excursions against arrival time at the port the arrival time at the port would be local time. UofMGoBlue Posted February 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2007 I was just there. It is definitely Central Standard Time. The ship's daily will tell you when to adjust your clocks.
dkjretired Posted February 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2007 but to confuse things even more, daylight savings is changed as of this year and is March 11 instead of in April at least in the US. Don't know what they do in Mexico.
