Dancing

I have not been on a RCI cruise in about 10 years. Do they have any Ballroom style dancing?

Not formally--if the band plays something you want to dance to, in ballroom style, go for it! They try to please the greatest number of people--and that's usually Top 40-type music.

Depends on the ship, on Mariner, Bolero's was a great Latin club for salsa, cha-cha and merenge. The Lotus Lounge was great for rumba and waltz since the floor was nice and big. On Grandeur, there was a great 4 piece band playing in the Centrum almost every night, cha-cha, rumba, waltz, salsa. There was an oldies band that played a lot of good swing and hustle in one of the lounges. Grandeur also had some very basic ballroom type dance classes.
