Victoria: accomodations with 3 beds?

Recommended Posts

We are three adults (50ish) who will be spending 3 nights in Victoria in August, following our cruise on Norwegian Sun and are trying to find a hotel with a room or suite having 3 separate beds.

We will have a rental car so can be flexible. Any help greatly appreciated. (One that does have 3 beds is the Crystal Court Motel on Belleville. Does anyone know about this place?)

Thank you!

Most hotels in Victoria standard room seems to be two doubles or two queen size beds. For a third bed most hotels provide a rollaway bed. Just ask.

The hotel you mention, will be clean, but older, but the location is very central, you wouldn't really need a car , maybe just for one day to go to Butchard Gardens.

What is your budget?

Try the Helms Inn, a block away from the inner harbour. They have a website. Nice accomodations and many have small kitchens.

A friend stayed at the Crystal Court years ago I remember visiting her the room was dark, dingy, and small. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is a place I thought would have been demolished years ago. The other thing you cudl check, is lots of hotels have suites were you coudl get a one or two bedroom suite. You may be able to get two beds, and a pull out couch. GOod Luck!

Thank you all so very much -- esp the 1st-hand information on Crystal Court. I had wondered why, in this age of the internet, there were absolute NO pictures of the building or rooms. The thought of saving $100 a night ($130 v $230 in early August) was tempting ... but not that tempting. Right now it's between the Royal Scot (which definitely has 3-bed accomodations) and Executive House (double-checking on that).

You help is very much appreciated!
