NAS-KARR Posted February 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2007 I've been told and have read(many times) it gets kinda hot during the summer months. We were there in 06 during the last week of May and into the first ten days of June & it was perfect (mid 80's) in Spain,France,Italy,Turkey & Greek Isle's. digby Posted February 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Is it uncomfortably warm in the summer on a Med. cruise? Yes, for me at least! Coupled with high humidity and huge crowds I'd rather visit during the Spring/Fall.

drwong Posted February 18, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2007 We usually travel the southern climes during the "shoulder" months on either side of the summer peaks, but this summer we sailed on the Black Sea cruise in mid-July with a group of friends. Unreasonably and unseasonably warm. Hot, dry, arid, and need to slather on the sunscreen or risk first-degree burns. The intense sun's reflection will get under your chin and beneath your ears, and even under your collar at the neckline. And if you wear sandals, it'll burn the tops of your feet. Other than that, the weather was fine.
