Help!! Leaving in two days.....

Hi All,

 

I am sailing on Saturday with my DH and 3 kids, aged 6, 8 & 12.

 

What can we do in Grand Cayman??

 

They are all terrified of the sting rays, even though I have told them how much fun it is.

 

Any suggestions...we are thinking of the turtle farm.

 

All help appreciated.

The stingrays are my favourite...have you tried to find some online video or photos to show them exactly what to expect?

 

They've expanded the Turtle Farm recently, and I haven't been since the expansion, but there seems to be a lot of buzz about it lately. The new website with all the details is here: http://www.boatswainsbeach.ky/

 

There's also Pedro St. James "castle" - http://www.pedrostjames.ky/ - it's kind of cool if they're into history.

 

Or, you could always just get day passes at one of the hotels along Seven Mile Beach and enjoy one of the best beaches in the world for the day... :)

You really have to try the stingrays... we went with http://www.mobydicktours.com/index.html They were awesome. We also got one other stop for some reef snorkeling. If that's a no go then the Beach is it. The Turtle farm is ok... very short tour and not much to do.
