My husband and I are in our early 30's. This will be our first cruise on carribbean princess. Do you think we will be bored with the night life? Is everyone in bed by 10:00 :D ? If so I guess It will just be us having a party!

I had to chuckle when I read your posting, but because this is your first cruise on Caribbean Princess, I understand. No, they don't roll up the sidewalks precisely at 10:00. Things to do at night will keep you hopping! Do you like bar hopping? There are plenty to hit each evening, and the casino is huge and full every evening. Then there is "Skywalkers," the disco, which keeps hopping waaay into the wee hours! We are going on the March 11th cruise on this ship, and because it is "Spring Break Month," there are a lot of college students and teachers booked onboard. I don't think you will be bored, Yedimom! As a matter of fact, I can almost guarentee it!!

It was the best Princess cruise I have taken in a very long time. There were about 900 kids. There were a ton of teachers on board. Didn't know that new england schools were out for the week. It was great to have the teachers on board.
We were on the same cruise, and were told by several staff that approximately 20% of the passengers were children / teenagers. At the risk of making an unpopular statement, this ruined the cruise for us. We frequently heard kids stomping and running down the hall outside our cabin while grabbing a nap, and after the disaster of the Monday 70's night, we stopped going to any of the bars. From what we could see, Princess staff weren't doing much to ensure that youngsters were being encouraged to behave. There were even a couple of kids with roller skate running shoes that were racing around everywhere, bumping into people. Not fun. Princess lost a good chunk of bar tabs from us.

wow- was that the same cruise I was on?
Feb 18- 25th?

We saw a few kids on those roller sneaks in the lounge while playing scene it and the DJ Alex told them they cant skate in there. They stopped. That was the only time we saw that.
I think the roller sneaks should not be allowed on the ships. I mean they dont allow roller skates, so why allow that. We were told there were 600plus kids on our sailing. FIrst time we ever sailed with more then 35 kids.
what deck was this so we know to avoid that for future cruises with kids onboard.

thats one of the reasons we took the aft cabins. No matter what time of day we were leaving or returning the only person we saw in the hall was the cabin steward

You had posted somewhere about a slot machine in the casino that was really paying out. Sounded like some place I would like to Park My MOM for a few hours.. which one was it exactly???

THANKS
go into the casino and stand at the casino cage facing into the casino. then go to the right-- all the way back. (there will be another exit there that is close to the ladies room--lol) BAck there is a small bank of slots that is in the middle of the area-- there are 4 of them in the round. The machine is the one to the right.. its called Lemmings. Dont need to play a lot of money -- its the bonus round that gets you lots of deniros.
I'll let you know how it goes.. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I'd be curious to know if it still pays out a lot of bonus plays. Like I said in the one post-- the one lady never moved from that chair..no matter the time of day she was there. EVen was sitting there about half an hour before it opened on a port day.
IF that lady is still there--please tell her she spend good money for a cruise and sitting in a casino 24 -7 is not a good value.
