Chops/Portofino's question

Is a sportcoat required for Chops or Portofino's?

No--collared shirt and slacks are fine, although you will see some coats and ties--totally up to you!

Would it look out of place to wear a tux to Portofino's? My sons only have tuxedos and are bringing those for formal nights, but is it okay for them to wear them to Portofino's or would it be too dressed up?

If it is a non-formal night I would suggest getting them a pair of dockers and a nice shirt. If it is a formal night the tuxes would be perfect
