There are a lot of companies to choose from. If you live in the US or Canada, you should shop elsewhere. You'll get better plans for a lot less money. Go to www.google.com and search for "trip insurance". You'll find some good sites that offer reputable companies.

have you asked your home insurance comapnay about additional travel cover? On this side of the pond (Europe) many home owner policies offer travel insurance as part of the policy and/or with a small up-charge.

insuremytrip.com is a great website to compare insurance policies. Last year I used travelex lite and had to make a substantial claim on the insurance (we had to cancel our trip due to illness in the family). I submitted the claim and they paid out in full in three weeks. I'm using them again for my next cruise.
