BrendaVP23 Posted March 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2007 My husband and I are going on the Majesty of the Seas on 04/30. We were on the ship about two and a half years ago. I didn't find out til after booking that it had been remodeled - thats great! The only thing I was disappointed to hear about was the Champagne Bar was gone. We loved that and booked a room right by it... anyway, a few questions. CASINO - do they have Texas HoldEm? Any details about it? RESTAURANTS - I've read about Johnny Rockets, etc. What do they charge for that? FLL - any good suggestions for transportation to FLL from Port of Miami - for two people? Cheap! Any recommended excursions? Anything else from anyone who has been on it recently would be great!
cb at sea Posted March 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 9, 2007 They will have a "hold 'em" table--not a poker room, tho! JR is $3.95 per person for the food. Milkshakes are additional. We didn't find it to be extraordinarilly good. Much better in land-based locations!

I just got off the Majesty this morning and now back at home :( They do hav Texas Hold'em but it's a computerized table so there is no dealer. It's actually kind of neat. 2boxers Posted March 10, 2007 #10 Share Posted March 10, 2007 A cab ride to the port is the easiet way at FLL. About $25. Be sure to ask about the price before you get in the cab!.
