ballinafad Posted March 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2007 I would also like to know if there are any waterslides or lazy river at this location. I see the one in Montego Bay has a waterpark but not sure if there is anything similar in Ocho Rios.

gpension Posted March 17, 2007 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2007 We went there while on the NOS in Dec 2005. I thought it was a great deal for the money. Not the best resort, but clean, and the people were friendly. Food was good, drinks were good. Beach was just ok. One of the kids got stung by a jellyfish, and they treated him. Not sure what othet options there are - my wife and sisters in law went to Dunn's river and did the canopy tour, and loved both.
ballinafad Posted March 17, 2007 #9 Share Posted March 17, 2007 I looked up some reviews on tripadvisor and all seemed very positive. From what I could piece together, they have recently added 3 pools for a total of 5 with I think 2 swim up bars. They are in the process of building a waterslide so hopefully it will be done for us in December. Does anyone know if there are lots of jellyfish in Jamaica? I read somewhere to take windex for a sting.
Rare hcat Posted March 18, 2007 #10 Share Posted March 18, 2007 I received an e-mail from them today. They quoted a price of $60 pp for the day pass & did not list alcoholic bev as included--may have just overlooked that. They said they take credit cards & res are not required. Can anyone tell me how far this resort is from the cruise ship dock & what a cab ride for 2 adults might cost? Thank you

travelgirlie Posted April 12, 2007 #20 Share Posted April 12, 2007 This is so crazy. Thank you jhall131 for sending the email you received. Because of all the back and forth I made a copy of it to take with and I just finished speaking with them and they verified $45 per day with alcohol and no reservation needed. I will be there on April 30 and I can't wait to post about it! Thank you all for your input--I am looking forward to an uneventfulrelaxing day!
