Jazz(and other music themed) cruises questions

We are thinking of booking the jazz cruise on Westerdam Jan.20 '08. If any CC ers out there have been on a musical theme cruise, please tell me how the performances were set up. Did you think it was worth the extra money?

Wow! What a line up:eek: :eek: !! I love Wayman Tisdale,Mindi Abair,Gerald Albright and the host of others. I have some buddies that might go on this cruise. Looks like I just found my next trip!!

Oh my heavens you won't be sorry!!!! My hubby and I went by ourselves last year. There will be 12 of us for the '08 cruise next year. Rates go up on May 1, so if you gonna do it don't wait!!Have fun whatever you do.

whole new meaning behind that. That's whats so neat about being stuck on a ship with these awesome musicians....your hangin by the pool, at the buffet or dancin till the wee hours with them. We were on a shore excursion with Jonathon Butler, Wayman and Jeff Golub. How cool is that!!!

Thanks for the link!! This really looks interesting! I had heard Jazz Cruises advertised on a local jazz station and I'm glad to know they are hosted by HAL!! It looks very appealing!:)
