China Viking River March/April 08

I am beginning to plan a Viking River Cruise & Tour for March/April 08. I have several questions and would like any information on a China River Cruise for the Spring.

What are the weather problems during the spring?

Are there any cabins to avoid on the Viking Ship?

Is there anything you wish you had taken or glad you took with you on a similiar river cruise?
