Hair dryer on SUN

Hello travel experts:

I'm embarassed to ask this question, but someone in my travel party was wondering if the SUN has hair dryers in the cabins, as she did not see any printed word indicated dryers are present.

All the ships we've been on so far have had them.

Can someone out there confirm the SUN has hair dryers in the cabins?

I was on the Sun 3 years ago and they did have hairdryers in the cabin. To be honest, they weren't the best as far as heat and speed, but they did the job. (The newer ships have great hairdryers.)

You better gb ahead and pack your hair dryer...

 

The Sun does have a "blow dryer" and yes, you can

use it to blow dry your hair, but it is more like a reverse

Vacume Cleaner.

 

I will tell you that I loved it, not for my hair, but as a

full body dryer to get those places that the towell misses.

It really made me feel dryer.

 

But, for your hair, it is not as hot as a blow dryer, and does

not have a lot of air pressure behind it. For short hair it would

be fine, but not if you have long hair.

I would bring my own hairdryer! Ship dryers are no good for styling, just for that wind blown look.

The Sun has a giant blow dryer but it's on the wall right above the toilet.

That's just asking for trouble.

 

Bring your own.

The blow dryer is a tube that comes out of some kind of unit on the wall of the bathroom. It never got very hot and was not good for styling, as mentioned.

 

I also noticed that my curling iron never got as hot as it usually does...has anyone lese noticed this?

Thanks everyone for the hair dryer input. I might pack one along after all. Why can't the ships have strong hair dryers like some of the hotels?
