Buccaneergirl Posted March 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2007 I booked a 13 night cruisetour (7 night cruise & 5 night land tour) to Alaska for this May while I was on Mariner last April. We received $200 OBC for the 13 nights. I faxed all my info to get the RCCL shareholder OBC and only received $100. I e-mailed the shareholder dept. and asked why I was not given credit for the whole 13 nights and was told that the cruise is only 7 nights and that is the only time that you can use the OBC is while on the ship, so they only give credit for the cruise portion. Why is the OBC for one $200 and the other $100? I would like to know from anyone if they received full shareholder OBC for a cruisetour, not just the cruise portion. Thanks! cruisenfever Posted March 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2007 My guess would be that the Shareholders OBC is for the number of days on water........it does not include land tours. You were probably given the $200 OBC for booking a complete package while onboard.
Buccaneergirl Posted March 19, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2007 Thanks for the quick response! I just wasn't sure that this was standard procedure and I could not find an answer in any paperwork or on-line.
