  1. We reserved it last January on Wonder for a Bucs playoff game and the cost was $200 for 10 people, but we had 12 in our group and they had no problem bringing in two chairs. It did include beer and appetizers and great service. We brought a Bucs flag to decorate the area. I am thinking that we were charged $200 because it was a playoff game. Definitely go to Playmakers first when you get on board to reserve it.
  2. If the ship you are on has an Izumi, they will give you fresh ginger. Also, I drink ginger beer and that really helps to settle my stomach. Not sure why they call it beer when it has no alcohol in it,(I guess like root beer)but they use it to make mule drinks, so they have it on every ship. Just took my Dramamine (less drowsy)because we’re on Allure right now and winds are 20-30 tonight and 25-35 tomorrow!🤢
  3. Really, they aren’t sold out. They hold back a certain amount of dining pkgs to be sold on embarkation day, so just make this your first priority when you get on the ship. Hopefully, you have earlier check in time? Good luck and let us know what happens!
  4. As soon as you get onboard, you will be able to purchase the dining pkg. that you want and then you can make reservations through the RCL app. There will be a table on the way to boarding the ship or once onboard, near the entrance to where you board, where they are selling the different dining pkgs. Have fun on your cruise!
  5. Many school districts in Florida have Spring break next week too.
  6. No worries! I was never a Brady fan and it irritates me that people think that it was all because of Brady that we won the SB. He was a piece of the puzzle that helped us win. It takes a whole team! My mother bought me a Brady Jersey after the SB win and I just can’t wear it. I tried to wear it a couple times, but just feel fake and had to take it off.🤪😆 I would have much rather had a Gronk Jersey.
  7. I was on the charter! Lol! Have you not read my previous posts on this thread or are you just being funny?😆 It was one of my favorite cruises of all time! My two passions in life are Bucs and cruising, so it was amazing! I was a well behaved Buc fan.😇🏴‍☠️
  8. I google the ship and sail date and see what comes up. There is a website, but I don’t remember what it is.
  9. Hi Lena! I wanted to agree with you about the room service. One day it came on time and was the right order and the next day, they gave me no silverware and forgot my pastries. So, definitely inconsistent. We also had a problem with our toilet not flushing one morning (deck 7), but after about 30 minutes, it started working again. In no way am I condoning bad behavior on any cruise by anyone, but the shorter Bahamas cruises are definitely more of a loud party atmosphere. I see from your signature that your only other cruise was a European cruise and those are the complete opposite of a 4 night cruise to Key West and Nassau. I was a part of the Buc’s group(400 of us) and I was only out by the pool once the whole cruise. It was during the Bucs vs crew pool volleyball and I could see how annoying it would be to listen to the Tampa Bay chant, so I get your point. Sorry there were loud obnoxious fans, but I promise it wasn’t me or my husband.🤪 We were two of the nice older fans.😉😁
  10. You would recognize Tom Brady though, right? As far as I know, he will not be on the cruise. Darn!
  11. Glad you made it to Miami! I love your fur babies! They are all beautiful! Dh and I will be sailing on this cruise with you! We are on a partial charter with a Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s group cruise.🏴‍☠️ There will be players on board(current and past), cheerleaders, mascot and lots of crazy Bucs fans. Day 2, we are all dressing up like pirates for dinner, so beware Matey!🤪🤣 If you do go to Duval St in Key West, stop at The Flying Monkey and get a Grainerade. It’s a frozen drink that tastes just like an orange creamsicle. We are getting off the ship just to go get the drink. Have fun and I’ll be following along on board!
  12. I have been on 3 Super Bowl cruises on other RC ships and they always decorated the theater in each teams colors and had tailgate food. Unfortunately, now RC likes to charge for certain venues to watch the game, which I refuse to do. Last year we were on Mariner and saw the game in Studio B for free. They charged per table in Playmakers on Mariner, so they will probably do the same on Wonder.😡
  13. Good to know. We are on Wonder now and we also got 4 pieces on each large plate. I don’t like their desserts, so I will ask for an extra small plate when we go for dinner on Saturday! Thanks!
  14. Good to know. 3 of the 5 couples have the UDP, so I would just be paying the upcharge for them.
  15. Yes, I was thinking a private party. Isn’t Chef’s table for 12?
  16. Dh is turning 60 on Wonder in January and we have 4 other couples going with us. I wanted to pay for all of us to do Chef’s table on his birthday. How would I go about doing that? Contact the D/D+ concierge? Is now too early? Thanks for any help!
  17. We were on Mariner in August and Dh got 5 bottles of water with his card on disembarkation day. He actually only asked for two waters and the girl at cafe promenade told him he might as well get 5 since we are D+! Luckily, he had room in his backpack to put them.
  18. No problem getting it to go. We were just on Mariner 8 night with the UDP and by the end of the cruise I was ready to just have a fast lunch, instead of the whole sit down, ordering and waiting (we had 4 sea days), so getting sushi take out was just what I needed by then. Eating on the balcony was very relaxing.
  19. I always decorate my door with a few magnets and of course, a Bucs one!😁 🏴‍☠️
  20. Thanks everyone for the answers. We will be renting the scooter for the cruise and my in-law’s do have an accessible cabin. I’ll look into the transport chair too.
  21. We are going on Mariner in August with my in-law’s and need to know some scooter info because my FIL has bad knees. I think he needs a scooter for the 8 nights and especially getting on and off the ship in the ABC islands. My question is what do they do with the scooter when he goes on a bus tour excursion? Do they take it on the bus or leave it at the port? This is all new to us, so if anyone has any tips about using a scooter on a ship, it would be most appreciated. We are taking my mom on a cruise in November(Brilliance) for her 90th and might need the same info.
  22. Glad you got a full refund without having to jump through all the hoops I did while I was so sick. So sorry that this was going to be your first cruise back in 3 years and now you can’t go! Our cruise was a Christmas cruise with family, so it sucked to be home and sick at Christmas. My Christmas meal was chicken noodle soup. Take care and glad it all worked out.
  23. This happened to me in December! I got the Noro the night before we were to leave on Mariner. You need a Covid test today showing that it isn’t Covid because if it is covid(those symptoms are also symptoms of Covid) then RC handles the refund. You need to see a doc (I did a telehealth appointment) because you will need the doc to fill out a special form from the insurance company. You then submit the invoice of how much you paid for the cruise and the medical form from the doc and the insurance will send you a check. I submitted everything online and got a check in two weeks. This was insurance through RC. Of course things could have changed since then about the Covid rule of RC reimbursement. Definitely get a doctor’s appointment today or tomorrow. Let us know how it goes and feel better soon.
  24. The Cuban sandwiches are very good on the island. They are in the buffet area. Enjoying your review!
  25. Loving your review! We will be on Wonder in January for dh’s 60th birthday. Absolutely yes for taking dessert from any restaurant back to your cabin. I do it every time in the specialty restaurants because I’m so full and then enjoy it around 1am when I get back to the cabin for the night.🤪
