Boston Port

I will be taking a Canada/New England cruise from Montreal to Boston in May.

 

Does someone know how far it is from the pier to Logan airport? Also, if anyone has disembarked at Boston before what was the earliest time you could get off the ship? The reason I am asking is because I am concerned that I won't make my flight home that leaves at noon.

I sailed on the Serenade of the Seas Boston to Canada and back in 2004 (August). It was a last minute trip and I had to be in work the day we came back (it was a Monday) We were off the ship and I was in work by 8AM! (I only work 15 minutes from Boston). We were parked at the port and we did our own luggage. Logan airport is only about a 15 minute ride from the port, but it will also depend upon traffic at the hour you disembark. For a different, and quick, way to get to Logan from Black Falcon Pier (cruise pier), try the water taxi. Especially on a nice day it's a pleasure. :)

About 10 min from Logan to Black Falcon Pier, approx $20, about 5 bucks less for the return (tunnel gets you). No problem to make a noon flight, assuming ship arrives by 8.
