About Tuesday or Wednesday we got an e-mail from HAL welcoming us home from the Maasdam (first cruise).

Today we got another e-mail welcoming us home from the second cruise.

Never got anything like that before.

About 3 weeks before we left we got a Bon Voyage e-mail from HAL.

Another first!

...and we both received birthday e-mails from HAL. In this impersonal world, I think these are nice gestures.

We got a thank-you-for-booking mailer yesterday. Never got one of those before. This was postal mail, not electronic.

 

Princess has e-mailed bon voyage and happy birthday cards for some time.

Wow, good for you. We took the same first cruise you did on Maasdam, and we didn't get a welcome home.....or a bon voyage.....or any other personal greeting, although my email address is registered with them.

 

We did, however, get refills at the Mariners' Party this time, which hasn't happened in a while....and lots of the good nuts....so I don't have any complaints.
