MUTS on the Golden?

Hi all,

A friend who is considering taking a trip with my family in October asked me if the Golden has MUTS and I honestly don't know but I am sure someone here does. So, does she?

This is correct. It was originally planned to be retrofitted on the Golden but proved to be not as popular as hoped. Also, the Golden cruises primarily in colder climates now so that spending all that money to retrofit, and take the ship out of service for a week or two while it's done, for perhaps a few cruises warm enough didn't make economic sense.

 

The Golden is now cruising in South America in the winter and in Alaska in the summer. When we were on the Golden in February, it was too cold to go outside much less lay outside watching a movie. It was even too cold in the covered Calypso pool area. In Alaska, it's somewhat similar -- warmer during the day but pretty darned cool/cold at night. Just not practical.
