WC/Scooter rental in Brooklyn

We are travelling on the Crown Princess 6/8 sailing with my in-laws. My FIL has MS and would like to rent a scooter and a wheelchyair. Can anyone recommend a company that we could rent these through? I called Care Vacations and they are very pricy so I was hoping to check out some other companies to verify the prices.
