HELP, cruise dilemma

We decided to join my mom and stepfather and are now booked on the Carnival Valor for Dec. 2. Not sure what they'll think of Carnival. It's not during a school break and they're very easy going. I'm sure they'll do fine. The important thing is...

I have actually been on this ship and it is beautiful. It is only about two years old. Yes it will be larger than you are used to on HAL, but it will not feel as crowded as you may be dreading.

 

Kids are not yet out of school for Xmas break on Dec. 2 , so you should be safe as far as tons of kids are concerned.

 

Like you said your parents are very easy going , so I am sure they will have a great time.
