Long Beach car rental shuttles?

We'll be cruising from Carnival's port in Long Beach and it looks like renting a car one way from LAX to Long Beach, and then again on the way back to LAX after the cruise is the cheapest and best way to go for the 4 of us.

 

Does anyone know what car rental agencies in the LB area will shuttle us to the cruise terminal after drop off, and will also shuttle us from the terminal to the rental agency after the cruise? Thanks!

Strictly speaking the cheapest way would be to pay an $8 cab fare to get to the blue line and then an $3 pp for a metro day pass to ride the blue line to the green line to the airport.

 

Beside that, pretty much all of the major carriers will give you a free pick up if you ask them, just expect to pay through the nose for going one-way. I'm seeing quotes on Travelocity of about $70.
