Internal Flights (Baggage)

We are booked on a cruise tour package with Princess and have 3 flights within Australia - Sydney to Cairns, Cairns to Alice Springs and Ayers Rock to Sydney, I have read that internal flights only allow 1 Item of Baggage each but for our cruise we will taking 2 pieces each Does anyone know if Princes take the extra bags to our hotel in Sydney which we will return to for our two night stay. Or do we take then with us as excess baggage

If you're flying domestically with Qantas, you might want to read this thread. The charge for excess baggage is trivial.
