DaisyGirl55 Posted April 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2007 We are flying in to Vancouver the day before our cruise. We have some great ideas (from great CC posters!) about what to do around Vancouver. My question is this: About how long does it generally take to go through customs in Vancouver? The hotel we are staying at has a shuttle, and we were wondering about the time frame between when we land, and when we will be ready to go to the hotel. Rare Coral Posted April 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2007 It really varies how many planes have landed around the same time your plane has landed. In the past, it has taken about 30 minutes or so. 25 minutes of that has been standing in line.
ell52 Posted April 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2007 I'd say the maximum time it's taken us is approx. 30 to 40 minutes, but usually faster. Sometimes, when the customs lines seem really long, they actually move quite steadily and quickly. The hold up when it's really busy seems to be waiting for luggage at the carousels. . LeftcoastBC Posted April 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2007 semi educated guess. Allow an hour to get out onto the "Shuttle Pickup area" as others have said depends on traffic in and baggage wait.
