Aft Cabins on the Valor

the balconies across the aft are not covered.

Depending to the direction of the ship is how much sun you will get on your balcony.

Valor, yes, lots of sun especially on deck 8, there is really no overhang at all as you can see in Serenes picture, you will also have no wind so the balcony and the sun beaming in your cabin window can get very hot. if your cabin is in the very back , the dividers are slanted so you will have way less privacy and see all you neighbors, if you are on the side aft (L-shaped) you will have alot more privacy.

the difference being one is sailing the aft in April and July is a huige difference.

 

the heat and humidity in the summer makes the balcony sometimes unbearable..if youdont keep the curtains closed to the cabin the cabin can get somewhat warm too.

 

Now sail that same aft cabin in February-- its awesome as the heat and humidty are bearable.
