Best place to eat?

I was wondering where is the best place to eat in Tortola? We're mostly into TGIFriday's style types of places...ya know, hamburgers, fries, etc...nothing too fancy.

 

Any recommendations?

You won't find anything like TGIFridays on Tortola thank goodness. (no insult intended) There are no chains except Pusser's.

 

If you're just looking for burgers and such Then Stanley's in Cane Garden Bay is good (reportedly, home of Jimmy B's Cheeseburger in Paradise) Fat Hog Bob's at Hodge's Creek is right on the water and the food is good. The Jolly Roger at West End, Peg Leg's at Nanny Cay, The Elm at Cane Garden Bay, Also in Cane Garden Bay is Quito's and Rhymer's. Sebastian's at Apple Bay is another good spot. I think you can see, there is plenty to select from.

 

If you want a nice dinner, my favorite is Spaghetti Junction in Road Town. If you hapeen to be on the north shore after 6 PM, Palm's Delight in Carrot Bay has good food but don't expect a fancy restaurant.:)

Pyrate13 - How about some ideas for a group of 8-10. We would probably like a tour of island, go to Pussers or somewhere like it and a little beach time. Do you know of any web-sites that we could look at that would have something like this.

Ship excursions are way overpriced and way over rated IMHO......

We are there all day. Would like to be back on board by 3-3:30pm
