How Many Other Ships in Your Ports???

Some port towns get very crowded when several cruise ships are in port the same day.

If you would like to find out how crowded the ports on your cruise will be, a neat source is: www.cruisecal.com

I realize that many CC readers know about CruiseCal, but hopefully this will be helpful to those new to Cruise Critics.

It's a good site but hard to keep perfectly current. Sometimes there are little slip ups but generally it is very, very good. There are so many ships and there are itinerary changes all the time.

and the reason there are sometimes ships in port that are not listed on Brian's site is because they are owned by smaller, usually European cruise lines like Pullmantour that have cruise ships in the Caribbean for a brief winter season.
