I need a ride from MIA

What is the most economical (& dependable) way to get my family of 5 from the MIA airport to the Carnival dock in Miami. The Carnival transfer fees seem outrageous for an 8 mile ride. Thanks in advance for your input!

When you leave the baggage area step outside and look for a transportation desk. They will get a taxi van to take you to the pier for about $30 total plus tip.

I agree. Take a taxi. We waited for over three hours at the airport for our Carnival transfer to take us to the Port.

Taxi's a flat rate of $24 (for the ride, not per person) from the airport to the seaport. ;)

There are plenty around when you get off so don't worry.. you may have to wait for the van.. or maybe you can pre-arrange the pick up with the driver you go with
