Transportation from Denali Princess to Fairbanks?

As part of my Princess Cruise Tour package in mid-June, I'm stopping at

Denali Princess for 1 night, and then a motorcoach early next morning to

Fairbanks.

My question is this. What other transportation options are there between

Denali Princess and Fairbanks? I want to perhaps spend more time in

Denali, and meet back up with the tour in Fairbanks later in the day. Are

there other motorcoach available? Public Transportation? Are there any

rental car facility near by?

Give Princess a call in Alaska. Maybe they have some ideas for you. They might tell you to stick with the group.

I would assume you can ditch the group and take the Alaska RR which leaves around 3:45pm. $59 I'll also assume you will be missing out on the boat and gold mine tour however. I would think carefully about this??? You are throwing a great deal of prepaid money away, if you can, why not just cancel the cruisetour?? At the very least see if you can get refunds.
