wireless internet on Caribbean Princess?

Just off CB yesterday and had my laptop. Wireless did not work in the cabins, however it would work in the Horizon cafe, Internet "cafe", an atrium and lounge areas near the internet cafe.

I would just work off line until I wanted to transmit and then go to one of those areas and bring up a browser.

The cost was .25 per minute for our cruise because connection was considered poor. I have FIOS at home and was expected a crawl but it actually wasn't that slow for me. I guess I was lucky and did not used their machines only my laptop!

EVERY cruise I've been on Princess and RCCL since 2003, the Internet connection was about the speed of 28.8 dial-up or worse. I really wonder what is considered "poor" for this purpose!
