fascination dining room/buffet question

We just received our docs for a May sailing and something confused me. They say that the Seaview Bistro is open 6-9 for supper if you don't want to eat in the dining room. It also says breakfast and lunch are served on Lido Deck and the hours are listed in the Capers. Is the Lido Deck and Seaview Bistro one in the same, basically the buffet? I know it is a silly question but this is our first time on Carnival.
