OceanDreaming2 Posted April 18, 2007 #51 Share Posted April 18, 2007 I'm comparing the old NCL booking engine to the beta version. There is a wide discrepancy in the pricing. The prices are for 5/13 and 5/20 - ..seaweb .. beta 5/13 A1 $15285 none A2 $8895 $8349 AA $3905 $3549 A3 $6665 $6199 A4 $5555 $5129 AB $3825 $3499 AC $3105 $2799 AD $3005 $2679 AE $2785 $2499 AG $1615 $1399 BC $1915 $1469 BD $1895 $1449 BE $1265 $1049 5/20 A1 $19445 $18499 AA $5055 $4649 A3 $6615 $6149 A4 $6095 $5649 AB $4205 $3849 AC $2785 $2499 AD $2785 $2499 AE $2905 $2599 BD $1970 $1499 The prices are like this for OV and bal. cabins, too. One or the other websites is wrong. Which one?
CRUZIN TOM Posted April 18, 2007 #52 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Be sure and verify all of the pricing with insurance and taxes. I noticed that last night when I booked mine on the beta site for the Spirit in Feb of 08. I noticed at the end there were the additional charges of insurance and the port taxes on the beta site. Went back to my TA who was even cheaper.:)
travellady Posted April 18, 2007 #53 Share Posted April 18, 2007 What is the URL for the beta site? I'm using the old seaweb site and would love to try out the beta.
CRUZIN TOM Posted April 18, 2007 #54 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Update on pricing. I just completed booking the exact same cabin using the Seaweb pricing and the Beta site. The totals were exactly the same. The breakdowns are different on the sites. This is for a BB on 10th deck on the Spirit Feb 10, 2008. sea web Beta site 929.00 cruise 1069.00 Cruise 99.00 Insurance 99.00 Insurance 54.86 taxes and fees 54.86 taxes and fees 140.00 NCL charge ____________________________________________ 1222.86 1222.86 :)

rundogrun Posted April 18, 2007 #56 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Does anyone have the seaweb link? I have it bookmarked on my other computer, which of course has crashed and has no interest in working. We just booked Celebrity for the Baltics in 2008, although with the Jewel there, suddenly that changes everything.

OceanDreaming2 Posted April 18, 2007 #59 Share Posted April 18, 2007 Yeeish! You'd think they'd have the prices broken down the same on both of THEIR own sites! No wonder the prices on the beta version look better. Mary PS - thought my thread had vanished. it somehow was transported here.
