We have another winner from my latest batch of comment cards:

 

"We are very old and tired. We enjoy the shows, but do not have enough energy to applaud. A proper cruise line would install a push button on the back of every chair in the auditorium. Pushing the button would cause a recording of applause to play. This way we can conserve our energy. Thank you."

I hope this is just a joke.

 

No one could possibly make a suggestion like this in seriousness ... or could they?

It is all very well for the rest of you mocking cruisers, I can tell from your comments that you must all be quite young. You have no comprehension what it is like to be 123 plus years old. My husband and I are also very old, and we know from experience that if you do not take every conceivable single energy saving measure you can, no*ky may not be possible every night. :D

Perhaps we could just have stewards applaud for us - like the pre-revolution French court. They would just have to watch our fingers for clues. Raised pinky - moderate applause; raised pointer - great applause; raised middleman - enough said.:p

Can anyone tell me how to get diet coke out from between the keys of my computer from were I jest spewed it?!!!! :D I think I was sitting next to this old couple at the last show on the Conquest. They were saving a big block of seats. Where do I go to complain about that?:)

Well I do hope that these same people realize that these ships are awful long, so maybe the cruiselines should also offer golf cart rentals to be able to get from one end to the other, equipped with a horn of course:p .
