Elation dining room question

I know that for dinner you are assigned to a particular table. But for breakfast and lunch do you go to the same table, or like on RCCL just go to the table they send you to? (they are filling up tables as people come into the dining room and not all of the dining room gets used). Hope this makes sense.

Carnival does the same thing as RCCL

It is open seating for breakfast and lunch and usually only one of the dining rooms is used. Dress is casual - shorts, capris, etc. - no bathing suits.

Even though the waiter will show you to a table like you're saying - to fill up the tables - I often ask if I can have a window table by myself, and have always been shown to one.
